Yup, crawled into 2013. Not doing much drawing anymore, just not really feeling it at the moment, it'll pick up again eventually (soon). I have the urge to do some fantasy stuff. In the meantime, I'll be posting some photos when I get them. Mostly birds  They have been my favorite subject matter to try to get out there to capture. So beautiful, so much variety and a great excuse to get out with the camera. It's like a little treasure hunt each time I go out, always searching, never know what jewel will turn up.

Got a new lens that I'm pleased and ticked off with. My first 'big' lens that takes beautiful shots, but has no IS so most the bad ones are my fault and not being able to hand hold it well enough yet. I'll be getting a monopod soon so hopefully that'll help me get some more decent shots.

Always have actual artwork in the making, just never in the finishing! I have a few things in the work (forever in the work) that I want to finish digitally, but for most and drawings sake I just go back to some pencil uploads, THOSE I can complete. Much easier on my bad hands. Computer is not a friend to them.

So yeah, hope to get some pencil characters going again and photos. I'm trying to learn to use my camera so if I deem something decent, that'll come up too.

'Skywarp' Plushie now done. One more to go and I shall have my entire virtual band dollies (yes I said dollies!)They are so freakin' cute and make great couch guardians.

Thundercracker is so completely nude right now...AND headless to boot. TC being my last member I'm going to be doing much more work on him (with my 'parental supervision') than the previous bunch. I've gotten to do everthing so far and it's been fairly smooth. I'm not the pattern maker but I'm feeling more confident in assembly and sewing. He's going to be very fluffy when done.

He'll take a while due to scheduling with my friend who makes it happen (busy schedule at the moment) but I hope to have progress to post soon.

More plushie work has been done (go check the scraps section, or main gallery when they are done). Fun little buggers to work on. Slow going, but worth it. They turn out totally cute.

Other than that, still doing character requests and sketches.

For those living in the USA, do check it out. Sign the petition, send e-mails, pass it on! I've been hearing the ads for a long time  on various stations and finally checked it out. This wouldn't be a good thing folks.

I can't stand looking at the new 'share' option when viewing deviations. I don't like that it's mandatory, it clutters up the page, and overall makes me feel like I'm looking at a picture uploaded to something like Imageshack.

Not everybody needs to be reminded that too many lives revolve around Facebook, Myspace, Twitter etc... if I chose to stick stuff there I'll go do it, I don't need to see it constantly... just 'free advetising'.

Every time they make a site update here it just seems to get more cluttered to me, oh so much more flexibility, yet so much that won't go away.

Okay, picked up the Game on Wednesday and have played with it for a few hours. I do enjoy it, it's very smooth and fun to watch. The three part harmonies can be quite challenging to follow (all those lines merging in and out with three bouncing indicators is hard to get used to.) But all in all, good buy if you like the Beatles.

I still love me my RB2 better...

Okay I got to stop playing my video games right before going to bed (like THAT’S going to happen). All those colorful flashy things remain quite present in my dreams… totally ANNOYING!!!! Still playing... long after I go to bed.

Edit: Unfortunately no, I DON'T dream cool things about charaters.. just still playing, or trying to tell people I'm playing with that I'm not trying to be useless with my character, I try to tell them I'm sleeping... weird.

Guess it makes little boys of all ages feel like big manly men to curse and insult people they can't see, don't know, and have less than a 1 second exposure to. Guess its all a part of the fun joys of playing video games online....

Thankfully I do agree with them on one thing. 'I'm not worth their time' and I don't stick around.

Completely bizzare to me. That world of the 'super-elite'... it is really not that impressive.

Okay... review will be simple.

There's not much to the game, pretty quick linear story you can complete in a few days, or one day if you spend tons of time gaming.

BUT....

That did not deter from the amount of fun I personally have with this game. The graphics are great, music is spot on, and the script and voice acting is incredibly enjoyable.

Will be playing through it again on a harder setting.

The online co-op competitions are fun to. Brainless blasting is just...fun.

Went to the Labyrinth on Saturday night, had a lot of fun. Good music, good company, and good stage shows... so no complaints aside from the usual. IT WAS HOT IN THERE. There need better AC with all those people in huge, heavy costumes.

No events planned for the near future, just working on Chibi Rock Band characters for people to keep my drawing busy.

Think I want to get the Ghostbusters video game, played the demo and I can see it being something I have fun with. If I get it, I will post a review perhaps.
