Yup, crawled into 2013. Not doing much drawing anymore, just not really feeling it at the moment, it'll pick up again eventually (soon). I have the urge to do some fantasy stuff. In the meantime, I'll be posting some photos when I get them. Mostly birds  They have been my favorite subject matter to try to get out there to capture. So beautiful, so much variety and a great excuse to get out with the camera. It's like a little treasure hunt each time I go out, always searching, never know what jewel will turn up.

Got a new lens that I'm pleased and ticked off with. My first 'big' lens that takes beautiful shots, but has no IS so most the bad ones are my fault and not being able to hand hold it well enough yet. I'll be getting a monopod soon so hopefully that'll help me get some more decent shots.
